Founded by Thomas Armstrong in 1860 as a small

now known as Armstrong Holdings grew to be the
largest cork producer in the country before expanding
to linoleum in the early 1900s. From there additional
products such as wood flooring, ceiling tiles,

and operates 44 plants in 12 countries. U.S.
subsidiaries include Armstrong Wood Products,
Inc., Bruce Hardwood Flooring LLC, Hartco Flooring
Company, and Robbins Hardwood Flooring, Inc.
Foreign subsidiaries are Armstrong DLW AG, Tapijtfabrick

The flooring division has both commercial and
home sections, with a wide selection of products
including vinyl sheet and tile flooring, laminate,
riverstone, linoleum, ceramic and hardwood options.
The commercial products line include floorings
made specifically for the medical, education
