Bruce
Flooring was founded by E.L. Bruce in
1884. The company made a name for itself producing
high-quality, solid oak flooring and it was one
of the first to offer pre-finished flooring.
The company was eventually purchased by a larger
entity and the brand name has changed hands several
times over the course of its existence.
In 1998, Armstrong World Industries purchased
Triangle Pacific, the company that had been producing
Bruce flooring at that time. This purchase, combined
with its other holdings gave the company a significant
presence in the flooring market. Armstrong now
offers Bruce, Hartco, and Robbins brands of flooring;
arguably three of the best products in the industry.
Like
the beautiful hardwood floors of years gone
by, Bruce
hardwood flooring is made of natural
real wood. But unlike traditional hardwood floors,
which were expensive and difficult to care for,
Bruce
floors are created with today’s technology,
allowing for easy installation and maintenance
and creative styling and design options, including
patterns and multiple colors. Bruce brand flooring
offers more than 200 styles, colors and sizes
of engineered and solid wood flooring in strips,
planks, and parquets.
