About Duofast nail guns

Duofast Company

Duofast, which was founded in 1937, was originally called Fastener Corporation, and focused on producing hand-held staplers and fasteners. Like many tool and manufacturing companies, Fastener Corporation expanded rapidly during the war years.

Their automatic stapling products were in high demand from manufacturers with large jobs and a sense of urgency. Products were sold under the Duofast brand name, and they became so popular that the public began associating the company with that particular product name. Duofast was eventually adopted as the corporate name.

Duofast began the development and manufacture of its air-driven nail guns in the 1960s. Its first product in this line was the CN-135, which was introduced in 1964. An instant success, the CN-135 and its manufacturer have been credited with bringing about popular acceptance and demand of pneumatic nailers among homebuilders and manufacturers.

Today the company continues to make both staplers and nail guns. The nail gun line offers over ten design choices made to work with brads, finishing nails, fencing and roofing coils or several other nail types.
