The worldwide Hilti
Group began as a small family
company founded by Martin Hilti in 1941. The
company is nearly entirely privately
held by the Martin Hilti Family Trust, and the
organization works diligently to ensure that
the concepts and ideas of its founder remain
central to the operating philosophies of the
internationally respected producer of construction
and shop tools.
Hilti operates in over 120 countries around
the world with production plants and research
and development centers in Europe, America and
Asia. Corporate head-quarters is located at Schaan
in the Principality of Liechtenstein.
Hilti
products include drilling and demolition tools,
diamond coring, cutting and sawing systems,
direct fastening systems and special anchors,
construction chemicals, installation and measuring
systems, and cutting and sanding tools. They
also offer a complete line of light, medium and
heavy duty mechanical and chemical anchors for
use in new construction, renovation and maintenance
applications. Material application options include
chemical, screw, metal, plastic, and the well
known Cast-In model with internal threads.
