made Lamello products have been around since
1944 when Hermann Steiner opened his carpenter’s
shop in Liestal, Sweden. In the 50s, he invented
the world-famous Lamello Joining System and the
company really took off. Throughout the 50s and
60s, the Lamello went from a small business to
a large industrial manufacturer.
From 1984 and on, subsidiaries were established
in Austria, Germany, Benelux and Italy for the
Europe-wide sales. They are a large manufacturer
of wood working power tools and are also famous
for their wood joining technology.
Lamello has 4 branches of its own as well as
offices in over 40 countries. Their product and
services range from wood joining systems, wood
repair systems, special power tools, glue application
systems and INVIS joining systems.
Lamello continues to grow with numerous developments
and applications being tried out. These advancements
will roll out in the future as Lamello remains
a leader in the woodworking industry.
