For
over 50 years, McCulloch company has been providing
the world’s premier chain saws.
McCulloch was found in 1943 by Robert McCulloch
in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The
original name of the company was McCulloch
Motors Corporation and the first chain saw
was made in 1948. Since them McCulloch chain
saws have been setting a standard for all chain
saws. The company continued to grow over the
next several years and in 1958, they changed
their name officially to McCulloch Corporation.
Over the years, McCulloch continued to make
lighter, more powerful chain saws. Electric chain
saws came around in 1972 and the 80s brought
gas powered power trimmers and blowers.
McCulloch moved to Arizona in 1988 and opened
corporate headquarters in Tuscan. Over the next
10 years, McCulloch and the products continued
to grow.
In 1999, the McCulloch company was bought out
by a Taiwan based manufacturer, Jenn Feng Industrial
but the same high quality and standards that
McCulloch was known for remained.
