Rockler is the woodworking superstore. The Rockler
company was founded in 1954 by Nordy Rockler.
It began as a mail order woodworking supply company
based in Minneapolis. The first catalogs contained
items such as specialty wood veneers and hardware
items such as knobs, pulls and table slides.
Rockler’s daughter Ann joined the company
in 1969 and they opened their first retail store
in 1978. That first store was called the „Woodworker’s
Store“ and the company grew from there.
Woodworkers enjoyed having a store where they

over 300 emplyees as opposed to the 15 from when
they first started. Since 1998 the company has
strived to offer hard-to-get woodworking items
