Compressor cooler overview

A compressor cooler is a key part of your air compressor. Without it, or if it is not working properly your air compressor will not function as it should and could actually be dangerous in some circumstances. As with any tools, it is important to keep everything working at its peak condition. Compressor cooler information specific to your air compressor should be readily available in the instructions and documentation that your air compressor came with. Be sure to look this over carefully before trying to replace any air compressor cooler parts. The best idea is to check to see if your compressor has a warrantee left on it before trying to fix anything yourself.

Air Compressor Inter Coolers and How They Work

Air compressor inter coolers function in the air compressor is to remove air from the water in the air compressor before it reaches the tank. Because of this is it imperative that your air compressor inter cooler is functioning properly. One easy way to tell if your air compressor cool is having a problem is if there is water dripping out of the end of the hose. Clearly the cooler is not doing its job properly in this situation. Be sure to either fix it yourself or get it serviced immediately. Problems with any power or air tools should be looked at right away and not ignored. If you are having problems with your air compressor cooler and it is still under warrantee be sure to get it serviced.
