A
silent compressor is an environmentally friendly
machine that lets you talk while continuing your
work. If you have ever had work done by a dentist,
then you have seen a silent compressor at work.
Imagine how noisy the dentist’s office
would be without the use of a silent compressor.
Silent
air compressors are expensive
In most industrial settings, the compressor
used is extremely noisy. However, in settings
where noise has to be kept at a minimum, such
as a hospital, it is extremely important to use
silent air compressors. These are mush more expensive
than regular compressors, which is why they are
only used in certain types of work. The price
of a silent air compressor is close to a thousand
dollars, if it is needed for industrial use,
depending on the make and model of the machine
you wish to purchase. You can also buy a used
silent air compressor at a reduced price. The
cost of repairing one of these compressors is
often quite high and it may be cheaper for you
to buy a new one. However, there are also extremely
inexpensive silent air compressors that we use
every day.
Where
silent air compressors are used
If you have a refrigerator in your home, then
you have a silent air compressor. Silent air
compressors are also used in workshops where
airbrushes are used for various reasons. A spray
paint can is a very simple form of a silent compressor
Beauty shops use silent air compressors for spraying
on body tanning lotion, or in doing nail or body
art. Hospitals used super, heavy-duty silent
compressors, especially in the operating room,
where higher air output is required.
When
using a silent air compressor, you should always
keep it out of the reach of children. Never
use jets of water to clean it as the water
may get into the motor compartment. Silent
air compressors need to have the filters changed
regularly to ensure that the air around them
is completely safe. If the compressor is being
used in a closed room, be extremely careful when
spraying any flammable liquids. Hazardous concentrations
should be used at least twenty feet from a silent
air compressor.
