A York compressor is found in most vehicles
as the air conditioning unit. With a York compressor,
you do not need to have an external oiler to
keep the compressor lubricated as well as a filter
to remove the oil from the compressor output.
This is because a York compressor has an internal
reservoir for the oil.
There are three different stroke models of a
York air compressor. The longest one is the best
because the longer the stroke, the more air is
pumped per minute. The tag does not necessarily
tell you the stroke of the York compressor because
it may have been replaced if it needed to be
serviced at any time. If your York compressor
still has the original tag the number on the
tag will tell you the length of the stroke. 10
means long, 09 means medium and 07 means short.
The York air compressor
A York compressor can also be used as a York
air compressor. This has to do with the way it
is lubricated. Truck and Jeep owners who do a
lot of off road driving prefer to use the York
compressor because it allows them to inflate
or deflate tires easily.
Problems with the York compressor
Many people who own a York compressor really
love how well it works. The only problem they
have with it is its size. A York compressor is
very large, almost twice as large as other compressors.
They are harder to mount and require
extra hardware, such as custom made mounting
brackets. The pulley of the York compressor is
usually a V-belt which many require some custom
work as well.
The
york air compressor range
There is not much of a York compressor range
in products. This compressor is rotary belt driven.
This means it pumps pure air, which is why most
people prefer it in spite of other problems they
may have. Some owners have managed to install
the compressor so that it is out of the way and
have connected the air system so that it too
is out of the way. However, there is a variety
in the York compressor range of hose connections.
