Herbert Hautz started Delta Machinery in 1919
in his garage. His goal was to provide power
tools that could help woodworkers increase their
efficiency. Within a few short years, however,
Delta Machinery would grow to become one of the
world's most innovative tool companies, offering
never before seen tools that took much of the
dull routine out of woodworking.
Delta woodworking machinery
The woodworkers of a century ago did most of
their work by hand. While electric drills were
beginning to be available more sophisticated
power woodworking machinery was not yet available,
and so carpenters and woodworkers relied on hand
saws, planers, and chisels for most projects.
Delta
woodworking machinery changed all that. Hautz's
first product was a scroll saw that promised
to shave hours off of complicated woodwork projects.
His next product, the Delta "Handi-Shop" combined
many different tools, including a lathe, sander,
and scrolls saw, to offer a complete woodworking
facility in just one tool station.
Today's Delta woodworking machinery builds on
Delta's tradition of excellence. Using powerful
and reliable electric motors, heavy duty construction,
and tough as nails components, Delta's current
product line offers both stationary and portable
tools for your wood shop. Whether you need a
table saw with an extended fence for large pieces
or a portable compressor for your pneumatic sander,
Delta makes a machine that is right for your
job.
The
powerful Delta shaper
One of the best Delta power tools is the Delta
shaper. Delta machinery offers five different
shapers for making your materials look just right.
Delta shapers come with a heavy duty electric
motor to ensure that you can work with even the
hardest woods. They also have built in dust collection
that connects quickly with your shop dust collection
system.
With a Delta shaper you can always shape your
wood to exact specifications. And a Delta shaper
is built tough so that it can handle the stresses
of this demanding task.
Delta machinery parts
Delta manufactures all its tools with high quality
components, including heavy duty steel, aluminium,
and plastics. Delta machinery parts are designed
to stand up to repeated use, because Delta knows
that serious woodworkers need serious tools to
handle their projects. This is why serious woodworkers
choose tools made by Delta Machinery.
