Wood laminate flooring is constructed with a high density fiber board that is sandwiched between a melamine laminate backing that has an image of wood and a melamine laminate top. When you have finished installing the wood laminate flooring, you are not supposed to walk on it for at least 24 hours. This is fine if you haven’t moved into the house, but tends to be difficult if you are remodelling, especially the kitchen or bathroom.
