New Weinig OptiCut 200 Elite from Dimter

weinig-opticut-200 The new Weinig saw is the result of further technical advances to upgrade the successful model OptiCut 200. With the OptiCut 200 Elite, Dimter, the wood optimizing specialist within the Weinig Group, brings an inexpensive, yet powerful cross-cutting saw onto the market, suited for medium-sized production. The numerous elaborate details add up to an innovative complete solution. The customer profits from a number of technical and economical improvements. The new Weinig Dimter OptiCut 200 Elite makes wood optimizing even more efficient than before.

In particular, Dimter has managed to considerably reduce the maintenance and servicing costs. The use of standard wearing parts has contributed significantly to that effect. The price for this cross-cutting saw lies well under that of earlier models of the Weinig Dimter OptiCut 200 series. Yet, many other details reflect the new advances of the model: the saw has a material spearing control system, an exact guide for angular cuts resulting in a higher timber yield, and it guarantees highest cutting precision by performing measurements directly on the workpiece.

In addition, the performance is increased up to 15.000 linear meters (50,000 linear feet) per shift or even more depending on the timber type.

Responding to frequent requests from customers, Dimter now also offers two other models of the OptiCut 200, custom-designed from the factory to meet special requirements and production tasks: The Excel , with its compact design, is the ideal solution for businesses with limited space. It is also the perfect machine where short and heavy timber often has to be optimized. The Classic would be the first choice if cross-cutting of defects and quality sorting are the main focus. Up to three qualities can be differentiated.

With the Weinig Dimter OptiCut 200 Elite, Dimter serves businesses which as a standard want to reach the maximum yield out of their timber. This means full optimizing. Defects and qualities are marked by the operator - the machine takes care of the rest. The Weinig Dimter OptiCut 200 Elite can process wood lengths of up to 6,3 m (20.5 ft).
