Rigid Tools Overview

Rigid tools stand the test of time

Rigid tools has developed a new line of tools especially for those who do a lot or remodelling. These designs for Rigid tools came about as a result of suggestions from customers looking for tools they needed to help them get their jobs done more effectively. The new line of Rigid tools means that they are more compact and lighter and they provide more torque than the standard line.

The Ridgid Miter Saw is dependable and reliable. It does the job well. This saw carries a one year warranty, but is well made. The only problem that users have found with this line of Rigid tool is that the miter angle is positioned far to the left so that it gets covered up making it difficult to set a miter angle with a workpiece on the saw.

The Rigid jointer was designed because customers wanted a more stable base, better collection of sawdust and a dual bevel fence. The new line of jointers from Rigid tools can handle more wood per pass and radically reduce the things shavings can get caught on. There are positive stops at 45, 90 and 135 degrees on this jointer as well.

The Rigid cordless drill is powerful and compact. The newer model, X2, has a high capacity battery with double-port charger. The twin charger can charge two batteries in 30 minutes and the locking carbide chuck holds bits securely.

Rigid tools has looked upon the comfort requirements of its customers in carrying around the tools they need. They have developed many combo kits that include various tools in one case. Customers also like the idea of purchasing several different tools at one time. You can be sure of the durability of Rigid tools as you use them repeatedly for the many tasks that have to be done around the house or on the job.
