Hole Saw

The new Bosch hole saw technology makes drilling easier

hole saw viewWith the introduction of the power change hole saw system, tough plug removal, wasted parts and poor hole quality will no longer be associated with drilling applications - a reality made possible by the all new Bosch system. The design of the power change hole saw system allows professionals to generate high-quality projects with fewer parts - making drilling simpler and more efficient than ever before. For example, the new hole saw design features one Mandrel that accepts ALL hole sizes - thus eliminating the need for multiple mandrels and adapters, while simplifying the system and taking up less space.

The Heavy-Duty Hex Drive ensures that hole saws quickly lock positively into place, unlike conventional threaded systems, which can seize up and force parts to stick together. The patent pending drive system also offers tighter tolerances for less wobble/vibration and better hole quality, and creates an easy method for removing plugs. In addition to better quality holes, the Power Change hole saw feature the new Progressive tooth pattern, which means fast and efficient cutting through wood, plastic, and any machinable metal.

By featuring a 1/4-inch hex shank Pilot Bit, the need for set screws, Allen wrenches, and screwdrivers is eliminated. Any 1/4-inch hex shank accessory needed on the job - screwdriver bits, spade bits, nut drivers, etc. - is compatible with the Power Change Mandrel. The new Bosch Power Change Hole Saw System offers three mandrel sizes (3/8-inch, 1/2-inch, or SDS-Plus shank), 53 hole saw sizes (from 9/16-inch to 6-inch), and popular Master, Plumbing, Electrical, and Lock Installation kits. Hole saw prices range from $11 to $70; mandrel prices from $15 to $20.
