Digital tape measures are good for measuring angles

Measuring angles can be tough if you do not have the right equipment. To properly measure angles you should use digital tape measures or a Stanley tape measure. These provide the best accuracy, and when doing any type of wood working accuracy is key. If you are measuring angles be sure to do it as precisely as possible. Try and not leave anything up to guesswork. Digital tape measures are great because they are extremely accurate and reduce much of the human error that can be associated with error in measuring angles with a standard tape measure.

Benefits of Digital Tape Measures

Digital tape measures are a great tool to have around for measuring angles. There are many benefits to using digital tape measures. Some digital tape measures store distances measured so you can retrieve them after and use them for other calculations. This can be very handy and a great time-saver. You can find digital tape measures that are equipped with a laser that can measure square footage. These digital tape measures are very accurate when measuring angles. Some can even do calculations for you!

The Stanley Tape Measure

The Stanley tape measure is a standard in steel tape measures. The Stanley tape measure is great for measuring angles, and it is also one of the few steel tape measures that comes in 35 feet. This is important for many wood workers since over 30 feet for building things especially in houses is the norm. The Stanley tape measure can be found in almost any handy person’s tool kit.

Measuring angles is easiest using a square. There are many different types of squares, such as tri-square, combination square, speed square, framing square, mitre square, and sliding square. Each one is useful for a specific purpose. For example a tri-square, also known as and Engineer’s square, is useful for measuring and marking 90-degree angles. If you are interested in learning what type of square is best for which project, you can do a search on the Internet. This will help you determine which square is best for measuring angles that you need.

Digital tape measures and square measures are the best tools for measuring angles.
