Industrial Tools Are Built To Last

Industrial tools are heavy duty tools and equipment designed for everyday use in rugged, demanding conditions. These tools are often made with higher powered motors, sturdier components and perhaps additional bearings. These tools are built with the knowledge that they will receive much more use than most consumer grade tools. And, of course, that comes with an additional price.

Industrial power tools include such items as jointers, planers, scroll saws, portable thickness planers, saws, powered hammers, generators, lathes, mills and many more woodworking and metal crafting tools. Often industrial power tools are developed to meet a construction need, and if the tool is successful, it is redesigned as a lower cost consumer tool.

Industrial table saws are made and distributed by most of the major tools companies, including Delta, Porter-Cable, Grizzly, Great Northern and others. These heavy duty saws have been important tools for factories and contractors since they were invented in 1906. These saws are made with heavy duty one and two horsepower motors and heavy duty cast or steel tables.

Industrial Saw Blades Are Built Tough

Industrial saw blades are designed for long life. They are made from very hard steel alloys, carbide or are carbide tipped for additional cutting life.

Industrial tools are available through industrial supply warehouses and dealers. Many of the companies who make the tools have websites to describe their tools and customer support programs. The tool companies work closely with their distributors. The distributors also maintain websites with pricing and sales transaction information for their lines of industrial tools.
